SUETHOLZ, FRANK (b. 1933)

Frank Suetholz (b. 1933) is a Milwaukee area native, who received his BA (1960) and MA (1974) from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Frank is a master flutist having been a student of Samuel Baron of the New York Woodwind Quintet. A Wisconsin Music Educator, Frank Suetholz taught 5th -12th grade at Johnson Creek Schools (near Watertown, WI) from 1961-1966 and then entered the Racine Unified Schools where he taught from 1966 through 1998.
 
Flutist Frank Suetholz performed with the Waukesha Symphony, and for 43 years was the principal flutist with the Racine Symphony. He enjoys playing chamber music in and around the greater Milwaukee area and is active in Milwaukee's MacDowell Club. In his retiredment is teaching privately in the Racine area where he lives.
