WOLFMAN, BARBARA

Serving as music director of Unity Church, she is also the accompanist and member of the Akzents, a women's chamber group directed by Art Brandvold.In addition, she is office manager at Del Rio Music and has a limited studio of voice and piano students.
Ms. Wolfman's 50-minute collection of personal arrangements and original work, Wisconsin Voices Calling, was commissioned to honor the Wisconsin Sesquicentennial in 1998. Another work, "Reconciliation," premiered on Native American Day in the Capitol Rotunda in Pierre, South Dakota, in 1999. This work, based on the culture of the Lakota Sioux people, featured Kevin Locke, American Indian flutist.
Ms. Wolfman performs at birthdays and naming ceremonies, bar mitzvahs and graduations and weddings and funerals. She also creates and provides educational programming for age groups ranging from pre-schoolers to seniors.
Ms. Wolfman has performed nationally and internationally as a piano accompanist and singer, including appearances in Prague, Salzburg, Paris, London and Tokyo.
