SKINNELL, ROBERT GARSON (b. 1949)

Robert Garson Skinnell was born in Seattle in 1949. He moved to Los Angeles in 1967 where he has since lived. He holds a Masters of Music degree in musical composition from the University of Southern California where he studied with Halsey Stevens. Skinnell has also done post-graduate work at USC in choral and church music.
 
For over forty years, Mr. Skinnell has been active as a church musician in the greater Los Angeles area as conductor, singer composer and arranger.
 
Since 1982, Skinnell has been serving as head of the music library at Universal Studios, Hollywood.
