DUGGAN, KEVIN A. (b. 1991)

Kevin A. Duggan (born 1991, Dubuque, Iowa) is an American composer, arranger and performer. Kevin Duggan’s musical endeavors began first as a guitarist and vocalist at Wahlert Catholic High School in Dubuque, Iowa and continued at Loras College (also in Dubuque, Iowa) where Kevin pursued a degree in Music Education. His musical mentors include his former professors, Drs. Bruce Kotowich, Glenn Pohland and Roy Carroll, and previous voice teacher, Sandra Eichel.
 
Kevin A. Duggan is a freelance music arranger of show choir music with schools from across the USA performing his arrangements. He also works with show choirs at his alma mater, Wahlert Catholic High School, from which he graduated in 2009.
 
Kevin Duggan’s choral composition, "O Redemptor" was chosen to be part of The Bruce Kotowich Choral Series. He was honored to compose a celebratory choral work, "A Crown Has Found Me," for concert choir in 2013 for the 175th anniversary of Loras College. The work utilizes violin, cello, piano, tubular bells, and snare drum. "Apache Blessing" is scored for SATB mixed choir, piano and conga drum.
