ALVIANI, HENRY A. (b. 1949)
Henry A. Alviani, born June 15,1949, is originally from Burbank, California. Henry "Hank" Alviani earned the Masters of Music in Choral Conducting from California State University at Fullerton and the DMA in Choral Music from Arizona State University. He has studied with Paul Salamunovich, Howard Swan, John Cooksey, Helmuth Rilling, and Douglas McEwen. After teaching public junior and senior high school in Southern California for twelve years, he has directed choral ensembles and taught voice and conducting at the college level in Texas and Wisconsin since 1993, and is an active solo recitalist, school clinician and festival judge.
